  • 1/4 cup oil
  • Fresh coriander leaves, chopped for garnishing.

Instructions to make:

  1. In a karahi or heavy-bottomed pan, heat the oil.
  2. Sauté the coriander and cumin seeds until they begin to splutter.
  3. Sauté the chopped onions until they become golden brown.
  4. Cook for two to three minutes after adding the ginger and garlic paste.
  5. Cook the chopped tomatoes until they become mushy and soft.
  6. Salt, turmeric powder, and red chili powder can be added to taste. Blend well.
  7. Mix thoroughly after adding the chicken pieces until the masala coats the chicken.
  8. Cover the pan and cook the chicken over low heat for 10 to 15 minutes, or until it is cooked through.
